Paul R. Fleischman is the author of various books, i.e. An Ancient Path; Cultivating Inner Peace; The Buddha Taught Non Violence, Not Pacifism, Karma and Chaos, and Spiritual Aspects of Psychiatric Practice. He has also published articles in a number of scholarly journals like Landscape, Nature and The Yale Review. He has been honoured by the American Psychiatric Association with the Oskar Pfister Award.
